Founded in 2005 by vocalist/guitarist Joseph Darbonne, the band has grown to include vocalist/guitarist Logan Fontenot, vocalist Dominique Darbonne, bassist Taylor Lee, drummer Chad Townsend, and keyboardist Wesley Royer.Â
Based out of Lake Charles, Louisiana, the Flamethrowers are widely known all over the Gulf Coast for their fun, high-energy performances.Â

This band was simply the best. They were very professional and accommodating to our every need. I was so impressed with the wide range of music played there was something played for everyone, kids and adults alike. So many people have told my wife and me how much fun they had dancing the night away at our wedding. Booking the Flamethrowers to play at our wedding in NOLA was one of the best decisions that we made. They were very professional and responsive leading up to the event. At our request they learned the song that we chose for our first dance and executed it perfectly. Aside from our set dances (father, mother, 1st dance) we didn't provide them with any guidance, and they did a great job keeping the energy going all night playing a great mix of music that kept all of our guests (ages ranging from 18-80) dancing. Every time I'd look out at the ballroom I'd see nothing but empty seats because everyone was on the dance floor. My two pieces of wedding planning advice are 1) book the Flamethrowers, and 2) if you followed my advice on step one, then get a bigger dance floor, because these guys are going to pack it.
